Biography
Rupali Ganguly was born on 5th April 1977 to film director Anil Ganguly.
She is a well-known television actress and got recognition from her debut serial Sarabhai VS Sarabhai.
She made her film debut in her father’s film Saaheb(1985) and continued working in several films and tv shows like Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi / Nayi Umar Nayi Chunauti - Parvarrish Agla Padav, Sanjivani, and Baa Bahu and Baby. She aced the game of Fear Factor-Khatron ke Khiladi 2.
Personal Life
Despite being in the limelight for several years she took a break for 7 years as she married Ashwin K Verma on 6th February 2013 and they both have a kid Rudransh who made his Tv debut on Ravivar with Star Parivar.
Rupali Ganguly has a brother Vijay Ganguly who is a well-known choreographer known for Jagga Jasoos (2017), Andhadhun (2018), Stree (2018), and Love Aaj Kal (2020). Rupali Ganguly is proud of her brother's work for the song Chaka Chak in the film Atrangi re.
Comeback as Anupama
After her break, her husband wholeheartedly helped her to pursue her acting career after she was offered the role of Anupama in Anupama Serial from Rajan Shahi on Star Plus. From Bubbly and Miser Monishaa to strong and courageous Anupama we have seen Rupali Ganguly’s par excellence in acting. She received her first ITA award for her role as Anupama despite being part of the industry for 14 years.
