Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 has returned after a five-year hiatus. The celebrity dance reality programme is noted for having an incredible roster of Bollywood personalities. According to the concept of the competition, each competitor will be allocated a choreographer and will perform together on stage in front of the acclaimed judges, Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, and Nora Fatehi. While the public awaits the premiere of the new season hosted by Maniesh Paul and featuring some of the industry's biggest stars, let's take a look at the candidates who have won the trophy in the previous nine seasons.

First Season: Mona Singh
The inaugural season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa was judged by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Shilpa Shetty, and Farah Khan. Choreographed by Toby, Mona Singh won the trophy for the season, while Shweta Salve was the first runner-up.

Second Season: Prachi Desai
The second season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa was hosted by Rohit Roy and Mona Singh and judged by Shiamak Davar, Urmila Matondkar and Jeetendra. Bollywood actress Prachi Desai won the second season. Her dance performances were choreographed by Deepak Singh.

Third Season: Bhaichung Bhutia
The third season of the show was hosted by Rohit Roy and Shweta Tiwari and judged by Juhi Chawla, Vaibhavi Merchant and, the late Saroj Khan. Footballer Bhaichung Bhutia was announced as the winner of the season. Sonia Jaffer choreographed his dance performances.

Fourth Season: Meiyang Chang
The fourth season of the show was hosted by Sumeet Raghavan and Mona Singh and judged by Remo D’souza, Madhuri Dixit, and Malaika Arora. Meiyang Chang won the trophy for the season. His dance performances were choreographed by singer, actor cum dancer Marischa Fernandas.

Fifth Season: Gurmeet Choudhary
The fifth season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa was hosted by Maniesh Paul and Ragini Khanna and judged by Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, and Remo D’souza. Coming a long way in the entertainment industry, Gurmeet Choudhary won the fifth season. Shampa Sonthalia choreographed his dance performances.

Sixth Season: Drashti Dhami
The sixth season of the show was hosted by Maniesh Paul and Kapil Sharma and judged by Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, and Remo D’souza. Actress Drashti Dhami won the trophy in the season. Renowned choreographer Salman Khan choreographed her dance performances.

Seventh Season: Aashiesh Sharrma
The seventh season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa was initially hosted by Ranvir Shorey but later by Drashti Dhami and Maniesh Paul and judged by Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, Remo D’souza and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Dancer Aashiesh Sharrma won the season. Shampa Sonthalia choreographed his dance performances.

Eight Season: Faisal Khan
The eighth season of the show was hosted by Maniesh Paul and judged by Karan Johar, Malaika Arora, Shahid Kapoor, Lauren Gottlieb and Ganesh Hegde. Dancer Faisal Khan won the season. Vaishnavi choreographed his dance performances.

Ninth Season: Teriya Magar
The eighth season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa was hosted by Maniesh Paul and judged by Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ganesh Hegde. Dancer Teriya Magar won the trophy in the season. Her dance performances were choreographed by Aryan Patra.

Here’s everything you need to know about Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 10
The tenth season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa will be hosted by Maniesh Paul. It will be adjudicated by Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi. The confirmed candidates for the show are Dheeraj Dhoopar, Ali Asgar, Faisal Shaikh, Nia Sharma, Niti Taylor, Shilpa Shinde, Paras Kalnawat, Gashmeer Mahajani, Rubina Dilaik, and Amruta Khanvilkar. It starts from September 3rd.
