Why did Bigg Boss 13 TRP break all the records?
Bigg Boss 13 ended in 2020, but it continued to make headlines. Bigg Boss 13 was too intriguing for viewers to forget, and they still remember some of the outstanding contestants from the season, like Sidharth Shukla, Shehnaaz Gill, and Rashmi Desai. They adored the chemistry of Siddharth Shukla and Shehnaz and popularised their sensational hashtag, Sidnaz.
Bigg Boss 13 has smashed all previous rating records. In the last week, it had around 10.5 TRP and 8.5 a week before its finale which generated a lot of hype among the audience. The season was on-air for 140 days. It was the first time in Bigg Boss history that a season was given a one-month extension due to its humongous craze among fans and therefore became the Second longest season.
Sidharth Shukla won Bigg Boss 13 and took home the trophy, while Asim Riaz finished as the show's first runner-up. Sidharth, Asim, Rashami, Shehnaaz, and Arti were the top five candidates. Sidharth and Asim's battles were the buzz of the town and frequently made headlines.
Why was Bigg Boss 15 a BIG FLOP?
As we all know, Bigg Boss is a popular reality show for which the audience waits to get entertainment for at least 105 days. However, season 15 proved a big disappointment to viewers as it failed to entertain them and was marked as a big Flop. The reason for this season's poor TRP was that Bigg Boss has always been renowned for its legendary love tales, such as Prince and Yuvika, Siddharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill, Gauhar Khan, and Kushal Tandon. But this method no longer works and people want to see something fresh, which was why people disliked the house's connection and refused to be entertained by it.
On the other hand, the producers of Bigg Boss tried hard to increase the TRP by bringing back old contestants like Rashmi Desai, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, and Rakhi Sawant but this trick did not work as well because again, people wanted to see something different Masala and not just the old contestants; in fact, after the introduction of these wild cards, the game became even more negative than expected, which was also a major drawback.
Other seasons had their own roller-coaster ride but still were able to score Bigg Boss TRP charts. Producers of Bigg Boss consistently aim to raise the TRP with each season and make conscious efforts to entertain the audience in the most unexpected yet entertaining way.
