Salman Khan joked that he will repay 1,000 crores that he never received from Colors TV. He was speaking about all of this at the Bigg Boss 16 launch event in Mumbai on Tuesday night. The press conference was hosted by Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauhar Khan and they introduced the first contestant, Abdu Rozik at the event. The show is scheduled to premiere on the Colors TV channel on October 1 at 9:30 pm.

Salman spoke with Bigg Boss about the commercial that said he will participate in the game this year during the launch ceremony. The host received praise from Bigg Boss for his efforts and attractiveness.
Even though he won't be in front of the camera, Bigg Boss said that he will participate in the game. Salman joked about the show's one-eyed icon of Bigg Boss, when BB told him that you are looking good, to which Salman responded, “Thank you Bigg Boss, but I'd have looked doubly handsome if you could see it with two eyes.” Also, Salman said, "This year, Bigg Boss will play mind games and his intellect will be on display."

Bigg Boss stated he will choose candidates this time, but fans should be aware that the show is utterly unpredictable. Considering that the actor has been associated with the game for the previous 12 years, he also warned Salman that he might not be able to relax at all.
Later, after thanking Bigg Boss, the actor said in a low voice, "I was going to return the 1,000 crores that I was supposed to receive this year. Colors would make a 100% profit because I was going to repay the money I never received."
Salman and the audience were also told by Bigg Boss that the weekend special episodes had been moved. Salman often made an appearance on weekends i.e, Saturday and Sunday. But this time Salman will appear on the show only on Friday and Saturday this season.
