The internet is buzzing with several celebrity names who will appear on the Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 16, which is just a few days away. As Bigg Boss himself will participate in the competition, this season of Bigg Boss 16 is said to include new regulations. Bigg Boss 16 will premiere on October 1, 2022, on Colors Tv at 9:30 pm. Now, Colors TV has released two new online teasers that reveal a "TV bahu plus lawyer," and according to fans, she is Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia of Choti Sardarni and in the other teaser, it's Sumbul Touqeer, who played the lead character in the Television show Imlie.

Sumbul Touqeer
It has been confirmed that Sumbul Touqeer, well known for the Hindi television series Imlie, would compete on Bigg Boss 16. In addition to the Hindi tv show Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein and Chandragupta Maurya, Sumbul Touqeer starred in the Ayushmann Khuranna-led movie Article 15.
On September 27, producers posted a teaser for the next episode on social media. The advertisement showed brief glances of two television actors but hid their identities. Sumbul Touqeer and Bigg Boss were spotted singing along to the well-known Hindi song Imli Ka Boota in the promo video.
The channel captioned the teaser as, "Hero ke sher, Bigg Boss utrenge iss maidaan mein khelne yeh khel 👑 Dekhiye #BiggBoss16, 1st October se, raat 9.30 baje."
Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia
Nimrit has a sizable fan base thanks to the popularity of her show Choti Sardarni and her role as Meher Kaur Gill. From 2019 through 2022, her first TV show was a success. Modeling was Nimrit's first line of work. She finished in the top 12 in the 2018 Femina Miss India competition. She took home the 2018 Femina Miss Manipur title.
She has never been afraid to discuss mental health in public. Nimrit took a 40-day pause from her TV show in 2021 and didn't start back up until she had recovered her mental health. The actress's peers and colleagues in the industry praised her for her choice.
Nimrit had disclosed the same in an interview, saying, "Yes. I feel the medium we are a part of requires a certain kind of commitment. I have faced different situations, constantly pushed myself, and given more than 100 percent while shooting. But sometimes in life, it becomes important to choose yourself and your well-being. I have spent three years on the set and I wish I could have continued, but that wouldn’t have been fair to myself. I needed to take time off.”
The actress was introduced in a teaser launched by the producers without showing her face. The actress says that she is a lawyer by profession and later she got interested in acting and launched herself as the well-known bahu of a daily soap Chote Sardarni in the teaser. Internet users quickly guessed that Nimrit Ahluwalia from Chhoti Sardarni would compete in Season 16 of Bigg Boss.
