Biography:
Sudhanshu Pandey was born on 22nd August 1974 and hails from Uttarakhand. He started his journey as a singer with his band called ‘A Band of Boys’ in the early 2000’s. After his band split, Sudhanshu ventured into acting. He is a really good singer and we saw his skills on Ravivar with Star Parivar as well.
Career as an Actor
He started his career in modelling and then debuted as the main villain in Billa II (2012) a Tamil movie. He ventured into many roles on television with shows like Kanyadaan, Seeyasat, Ek Veer ki Ardas Veera, and many more. He played pivotal roles in Singh is King, Murder2, Khiladi 420, Singham, and recently in Jersey. He is currently seen as an arrogant, cunning man yet a caring father and respectful son Vanraj Shah in Anupama Serial.
Personal Life
He is married to Mona Pandey and they have two lovely kids; Nirvaan and Vivaan Pandey. The actor got married in an Arya Samaj ceremony in December 1996. Mona is a homemaker and he mentioned in an interview that his wife Mona is no less than Anupama.

He claimed in ITA Awards that despite being in the industry for many years and working in a number of films and serials, Vanraj Shah’s character has helped him get recognition by the Indian audience. In an interview with Pinkvilla, he answered everyone who criticized Vanraj Shah, "Some people are very quick to judge Vanraj but I sit back and smile because I know that these people will turn around and say, 'yaar, ye itna bura aadmi nahi hai.' That is the beauty of this character, it's multi-dimensional.”
In an interview with Koimoi, he explained how Anupama actor Sudhanshu Pandey was the first choice for Vanraj Shah’s role, “Not many know that Rajan (Shahi), who is an old friend of mine, came to me with the show even before he had finalised it with the channel. He even went to an extent that only if I said yes, will he make the show. So all this means a lot.” he explained.
Controversy
According to some sources, there were rumours of a rift between Sudhanshu and Rupali Ganguly during the shoot of Anupama Serial. Later, he stated in interviews that there was no truth to it and that it was just a professional disagreement. Also, fans claimed that he never tags Rupali on Instagram to which he laughed and said “I think I need to tag someone relevant with the pictures”.

Sudhanshu Pandey has a huge fan following amongst youngsters too as he is so fit at such an age and also an inspiration to many. He has around 2M followers on Instagram and posts some cool and entertaining reels along with his co-stars like Madalsa Sharma(Kavya), and Muskan Bamne( Pakhi).
