Anupama learned the skill of giving befitting replies to everyone when she knew that it was damaging her self-respect. Many women, especially housewives, have a tendency to downplay their value. They don't put their own worth ahead of living their lives for their spouses, in-laws, and children. Even if it's a small matter of disrespect from a husband or a child, learning to speak up against any injustice is important.
Anupama quit her 25-year miserable marriage and wedded Anuj Kapadia (Gaurav Khanna), the perfect spouse. Love knows no age, thus we should always give it a second chance. Anupama defied all odds of how a divorced woman should be treated and should be allowed to find love once more.
We saw many times that despite being a woman herself, Leela constantly mocks Anupama for all her decisions. Rupali Ganguly's portrayal of Anupama showed us that even though Kavya was the one who broke her marriage, she was there for her as a woman anytime she needed her. She raised her voice against her own son Paritosh when he betrayed Kinjal, her daughter-in-law.
Although Vanraj was not a good husband for Anupama, there is no doubt that he was always a respectful son and caring father. He always put his relationship with Baa and Bapuji first and never showed disrespect. Every occasion is celebrated with the utmost excitement, and they never fail to convey to the audience the importance of instilling family values in children.
Anuj Kapadia, played by Gaurav Khanna, is a role model for how a husband needs to respect his wife. Even though he is aware that Anupama cannot entirely break her connections with Shah, he still has faith in her. He gives space to Vanraj and Anupama for their parental choices and never interferes in their decisions.
Anupama never raised her opinion in front of anyone till the time she felt that raising her voice and putting forward opinions should be rightfully done when it is needed and should be taken into consideration. Several incidents of her life showed her that taking a stand for herself should be every women’s first priority.
Anupama, Kavya, Kinjal, and even Rakhi Dave were all shown as working women who succeeded in their various fields and maintained their families and homes with skill. Working women need the same respect and consideration as working males.
Anupama was always enthusiastic about dance, but patriarchal attitudes and social pressure made her hide her wings. She never gave up, made an effort to learn something new every day, and opened her own dance school. Never give up and always pursue your dreams.
Anuj Kapadia consistently treated Anupama equally in all aspects of his life, including work-related choices. In every initiative, she participates equally and has signing power. This demonstrates why women should be given equal power so they may embrace more opportunities. There are several examples of female entrepreneurs in real life.
Anupama never gave up and overcame all obstacles, whether it was getting remarried at a specific age, starting her own business, or defying conventional expectations. She continues to develop and inspire us with her determination.
We have learned how a woman should be financially independent and how a mother should be given her space to explore and grow. Also, this taught us to live happily after a divorce rather than living in an unhappy marriage.
